In the "Open" box, select the .PBM position file you wish to open and confirm.

The first position of the selected file, which becomes the current file, is displayed.

Browse through the file using the control commands in the small box that appears in the top left corner of your screen (see the Open position command).

The last four files that have been opened are listed at the bottom of the File menu for quick access.

Problemist is also capable of importing other file formats. In particular FEN, PGN, Alybadix and DBF files. To open this type of file select the desired file type in the "Type" field, choose the file to import and validate. Problemist imports all the positions of the file up to the thousandth position.
